When you sign up online, your status as a registered organ donor will be reflected in your driver’s record and you will not receive a new license. All you need is your driver’s license/photo ID number, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. Register online now.
Register when you get or renew your driver’s license, learner’s permit or photo ID
Check “yes” for organ and tissue donation when you get or renew your driver’s license, learner’s permit or photo ID. A red heart emblem will be printed on the front of your photo and will be added in your computer record with the PA. Department of Transportation. If you are under 18, you’ll need a parent’s or guardian’s signature to have the donor designation placed on your driver’s license, learner’s permit or photo ID card.
